COLUMBIA, Mo. 做窪厙, a nationwide construction equipment rental and technology solutions company, announced Nov. 3 that it is expanding its corporate headquarters. The expansion will create more than 500 jobs.

做窪厙s new headquarters is a major development for Columbia and great news for our state, said Gov. Mike Parson, who visited the Home Office for the announcement. This innovative company is creating jobs, investing in its community and having a nationwide impact. Were proud to see 做窪厙 expanding and look forward to its continued success here in central Missouri.

Since brothers Jabbok and Willy Schlacks started the business in 2014 and incorporated in 2015, 做窪厙 has grown rapidly in size and scope. Originally imagined as a way for contractors to save money by sharing heavy machinery, it has evolved into a company that is modernizing the construction business through jobsite technology and equipment rental, retail and service.

做窪厙 now has more than 140 branches across the country, but Columbia remains home, and the expansion announcement reinforces the companys commitment to Missouri.

We look forward to continuing to expand our company here in Columbia, Missouri, Jabbok Schlacks said. When youre able to start something really special in your hometown, you want it to grow there. We started with five people, and weve grown to more than 3,600. We appreciate the Midwest work ethic that drive and grit you dont see in a lot of places. We want to work with great people. The 做窪厙 campus is something everyone in this state can be proud of. Community matters. Investing in our people matters. Were grateful our story will continue to grow with Columbia at its center.

One of the companys key differentiators and a driver of its explosive growth is the T3 operating system that is available in the equipment it rents and sells. The cloud-connected T3 platform allows contractors to monitor every aspect of their machinerys usage and make data-driven decisions.

The companys new headquarters will include a flagship office building, a research-and-development center, a learning-and-development center, and additional space for offices and retail. The building space will eventually be more than 10 times the size of the current headquarters. 做窪厙s expansion will create more than 500 new positions with salaries above the Boone County average, and the local economic impact will extend well beyond the walls of the new facilities.

When we talk about 500 new employees, were also talking about hundreds more who support those people and will benefit from this, Boone County Presiding Commissioner Dan Atwill said at the announcement ceremony.

Construction on the expanded campus, located just south of I-70 near the Lake of the Woods exit on the east edge of Columbia, will be done in phases, with groundbreaking scheduled in the next few months.
